In celebration of the Urban League of Greater Cleveland’s 102nd anniversary, The Miracles along with Russell Thompkins, Jr. and The New Stylistics will headline a special benefit concert presented by the Cleveland Cavaliers and KeyBank on Thursday, October 31st at 7:30 p.m. at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Over the years, The Miracles reached the charts with 50 records, reaching the Top 10 on Billboard’s R&B lists, with 26 songs, four of which made it to #1. Showing their crossover appeal, 16 of the group’s records made it to Billboard’s Hot 100 and two, “Tears of a Clown” and “Love Machine (Part 1),” reached #1 in 1970 and 1975. 

For over 30 years, Russell Thompkins Jr. was the original lead singer of the Stylistics. His impeccable falsetto voice led the group to international fame and recognition, recording such hits as: "You're A Big Girl Now," "Stop, Look, Listen" and "You Are Everything." Russell's distinctive falsetto was the driving force and the backbone of the original Stylistics and it earned them a Grammy nomination in 1974 for "You make Me Feel Brand New."
