(Cleveland, OH) Today, in support of his sophomore album Illuminate (out September 23rd on Island Records), multi-platinum singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes announces his first-ever headlining arena world tour for 2017. The 44 announced Illuminate World Tour dates will kick off in the U.K. on April 27th, running through August 23rd in Boston, MA with many more dates still yet to be announced in North America & globally.  The North American leg of the arena tour will begin July 6th and will make stops in major cities across the U.S. and Canada, including a night at Los Angeles’ legendary Staples Center (see full list of dates below and get ticket info at http://shawnmendesofficial.com/tour). Shawn Mendes will perform at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Loan Arena in Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, September 24th at 10:00 a.m. online.

The upcoming album Illuminate features Shawn’s hit lead single “Treat You Better,” which has entered the Top 10 on both Billboard’s Hot 100 and Radio Songs charts.
